off topic engine question

hello
im hoping one you gear heads

might be able to help me,
im curious is to why my multifuel engine wont start with a full
tank of gas? it will run fine if you add gas to it when its running,
but once the diesal is gone out of the system , u shut it off you cant get it started
again,, unless of course you have diesal in there first, then add your reg/gas,
