Under the driver's seat...

Post by refit1701 »

Was there a lid on the box which supports the driver's seat or was it just the seat? I don't see anything to attach the seat rails to.

No lid-should be two hinge captive nuts times two on the front of the driver's seat cargo box that the seat base attaches to. The seat tips forward toward the steering wheel to access whatever is inside the box.

Just don't let go of that seat when its up or it'll take your hand off. That thing is heavy!

I should be more observant. When I lifted the HEAVY seat back out of the cab and over the door (it was blocked shut) I saw the hinges and the corresponding holes in the box. The bolts are missing, though.

My list of needed parts continues to grow....
