Dang! just imagine how much I could get done to my truck if I spent that amount of time he did on the RC model.

Beautiful work but if that's all styrofoam it must be very delicate.

I watched the whole thing. What a great job. Dont know how many hours it took you but what every it was I am sure it was many. Dont know what you would charge for one but it sure would be worth it. Good Luck

guy said it was about 60 hours of build time. I'm sure a round 2 would be a bit faster, but not by much. That's about $4k in labor at $65/hour.... yikes

Nicely done.

Needs some door windows and a personnel heater, though. That little driver guy must be freezing.

60 hours?......no way. I watched him do it on the video and it took him like 10 minutes.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't made of Styrofoam, more like sheet Styrene. You can't heat and bend Styrofoam like that and it wouldn't be very durable. I still think it's pretty cool the guy took the time to build it. It's funny how the M37 was such a popular vehicle and a true workhorse............but there are no scale models of it made by anyone like Tamiya, who makes a model kit of EVERY military vehicle.......EXCEPT the M37! Go figure.

Then again, the thing I hate most when I go to car shows is when a car owner has a stupid little model of his car on the dash or rear package shelf. Not a problem for us........the M37 dash isn't wide enough to put anything on.....and there is no rear package shelf! Hmmmm............maybe that's why no body makes a model of it ????
