AZ trip

Post by T. Highway »

I went to Arizona on a business trip last week and was able to meet up a member of this site, Jerry (M37jarhead) and his wife. This was a great break from the snow and cold that we have been having back in WI. We spent several hours talking about his M37 project and I got a chance to drool over his M151 and trailer. Here are a few pictures of the afternoon that I was able to spend with Jerry. The 75+ degree temps felt great after leaving 8 degrees in WI. Jerry wore his Green Bay Packers shirt so that I could find him at the airport.

Too bad I didn't know about your trip, Bert-would have been an easy trip for my wife and I to swing down from Utah to see you and Jerry!
Looks like you had a great time!

Glad to hear you guys had an opportunity to meet. Looks like a good time was had by all. It is amazing the friendships one can build around these great old Dodges. Man, that weather looks sweet, we just had another 8.00" of snow here in Ohio yesterday. We are having a heatwave of 38 today though

Gary,

When I hear Vegas and RV in the same sentence the first thing that pops into my mind is, Clark Griswald and cousin Eddie.

As an ex-tundra resident, I feel for "youse guys" during winter in all the snow and cold.
Thanks to Bert for finding time out of his business trip to visit and share M37 stories.
And thanks for the pic's.

When traveling I try to contact other g741 people. Bob Kavich in up state New York, Paul, Hememan and Bert at the
Iola show to name a few.

If anyone would entertain visits from traveling M37 folks, be sure to show your city and state on your g741 info.
You might just be surprised to get a "red alert" that we're traveling in your area.

Visitors traveling to or through Arizona are always welcome.
