Hi Guys,
I've noticed that most of the reproduced M37 parts come in boxes with the name "Newstar" on them. So I did a little digging on the ol' interweb and found their military parts catalog. I figure some of you guys would like to see it to know what's available. Unfortunately it's dated 2010 and there's no price list......but I'll keep looking for a new catalog and if I find one I'll post it here. Here's the link;

Thanks! I tracked down that site that had the catalog, they gave me a number of a guy in San Diego that carried the parts.

I believe new star is and Asian country company. Maybe China but I'm not sure. I am sure it's Pacific rim though. So you may or may not get quality in the part you order. Just putting it out there.
M37s are HMMWV in my world!

K8,
I think you're right, but they seem to source parts from all over. Coils made in Turkey, fuel pumps made in the USA....etc. I'm pretty sure most of the mil parts vendors sell Newstar stuff. I'd like to find a 2013 catalog to see what they've added since 2010, if anything.

bob

Re: Repro M37 Parts - Newstar Catalog
I called their number and they don't sell to people only thru distributors. No body was a distributor in the Charlotte, NC area. They were not real helpful. Nice catalogue though

DAP,
I'm pretty sure AB Linn sells Newstar M37 parts.......I recently bought a pair of 24V wiper motors from them and they came in Newstar boxes, and I see they list the new tail lights on Ebay as well. So I assume they are a dealer. They're located in Salisbury, NC.....not sure how far that is from Charlotte.

Hi Folks,
I purchased all new brake shoes, brake cylinders, and a master cylinder from Bob Stahl of Veteran Vehicles earlier this year. All of the parts were from Newstar. Some items were marked as manufactured in Taiwan and some were USA. It seems from their website that you can apply to become one of their dealers.

As a retailer, they were trying to get me to get an account. I forget what the "buy-in" was. Not too bad, maybe a couple grand.
