Greetings all,
I was cleaning up my bow corners and noticed a difference in the bolt holes. The difference was in how they were punched out-some with the "rectangular" hole squared with the bow corner, the hole sides running parallel to the bow, and some with the hole punched about 45 degrees rotated, like a "diamond." In the photo, the left one has the diamond hole and the right one has the rectangular holes. Notice how the left one has more of a diamond look to the hole whereas the other has more of a rectangular look in relation to the lay of the bow corner. Elsewise, they are identical and interchangeable.
I wouldn't have noticed it except I was thinking about putting the roll-up straps on and the diamond cuts don't line up with the strap brackets and the carriage bolt.
What gives? Are the diamond holes not M37?
