You Guys Got a Second Frame Number??

Post by w30bob »

Hi Guys,

Was looking over my new M and noticed there's a frame number (not the vehicle SN) stamped upside down in the frame between the bed and cab on the driver's side. You guys have a frame serial number in this location too?

Here's what I'm talking about.............

I'll check, but there's 60yrs of road grime is probably covering it.

My guess is that its a part number for the frame.

Bob, I agree with Tim, I saw a number when I was blasting the frame for my truck and thought as Tim that it was a part number but never actually check to see if that was true.
