Has anyone disassembled a 2 pin slave cable to replace one of the cables? The PO cut the cable leading to the starter.
I would like to rebuild it since a new one was $75 at Aberdeen. I could splice on another cable end but was hoping to just replace it with a new cable.

Re: Slave cable rebuild
If you mean how do the cables go into/out of the receptacle body, they just push out from the front. Use a 5/16" diameter rod or long bolt and a press. The wire is soldered into a cup.
A dip in brake fluid will allow them to go back in easier.
Don't try to remove the rubber part.
