Re: M37 as Obsolete
Greetings Bob,
The answer is located, well, right here on this site.Under Mil Spec Documents,Military Specs, there are three listings for the M-37 family trucks as follows: M-37B1-obsolete 9/11/78. XM-708-obsolete 12/19/80. XM-711-obsolete 12/30/80.
I remembered going through all the headings awhile ago,and that happened to be one of the items my forgetful mind remembered stumbling across. Our mentor has provided alot of interesting information in those other areas, and I tip my hat to him for that.It had to have taken a tremendous amount of time to load all that,it's good to see it retrieved for inquiring minds.
Cheers,Chris

My M56C was in active service until at least the mid '80's.
Have gun, will travel.
