LU-4 winch seals numbers

I am in the procress of checking and resealing my winch , does anyone off hand have the seal numbers for the seals on the worm gear shaft ? On the upside other than seals & gaskets , everything looks good inside , hardly looks used much . The seals on the worm gear shaft and PTO shaft look the same , are they ? . Finally finished straighting and painting the bumperetts , 3/16 tough to work with , but they are as done as the thanksgiving turkey ,as they say bobk

I believe that the Vintage Power Wagons website lists the part numbers for most of the winch parts. I'd look for you but I have to get off the computer before my girlfriend beats me with it.

another option after you reseal the winch would be putting john deere (corn head grease) in your winch instead of gear oil it does a more than a good job lubricating the gears and you wont get the drips as it is a grease. go on youtube and type it in and it will show you some cool videos of it working pretty impressive stuff. (not trying to tell you not to do things the right way by regasketing the winch but just wanted to let you know about the other options) thanks

Low speed unit yes but the extreme pressure on the bull and worm need a viscous film of good lubricant, corn head grease can simply push away from the surfaces leaving the contact points bare. This will cause the gear surfaces obtain friction and wear prematurely, a good gear lube will flow and coat the surfaces and not be expelled by pressure.

Corn head grease is good stuff and has it's uses but lube for LU-4 Winches is not one of them, even 90 weight isn't as good as the lube for this type of drive that Charles mentioned and I have of course let it slip my mind but I am sure somebody will remind me of it
I do have to one day find a good bull gear for my winch, the previous owners used it a lot as it was a tow truck in it's previous life and as a result has lost a bit of tooth width but still works very well indeed.
