Really, a four barrel? Do you think it would work, have you tried it yet? I know if your did, you also did your brakes.

they make 4 barrel manifold for slant 6s (5 cubes smaller than 230) and dual weber kits for 4 bangers so why not? no I never tried it. 2 barrel would probably be enough in any situation but I like the way the AFB carbs perform. super reliable smooth power
there is a fuel injection system that bolts in the place of a four barrel

an adapter could be fabricated from a dual 2 barrel intake to your 4 barrel carb

mine ran today the cam gave the engine lots more response

and it is very PEPPY

now it sounds like a HARLEY 8) 8)
