I am reassembling my M37 bed and it has been awhile since I disassembled it.
To be correct do you use regular lockwashers or the internal/external spring ones with the bed screws?
Thanks,
Rick

Re: bed assembly question
Rick,
I don't know if you ever received an answer on this but the TM has three types of lock washers in the bed assembly. If it says to use "lock washers," I've always translated this as regular/modern split lock washers. If they specify the int-ext tooth lockwashers they describe them as "lock washer screws" (whereas the lockwasher is attached to/pressed onto the screw) or "internal-external-teeth lock washer" (whereas the lockwasher is removable/separate).
The floor uses regular lock washers (modern split type) and the vertical panels and tool box bottom use the toothed lock washers, either the "lock washer screws" or "internal-external-teeth lock washer," as a general rule of thumb. TM 9-8031-2 specifies which go where and the ORD 9 parts TM also has this info.
