Gauge repair?

Hi all,

I have some dead gauges. I'm using the older Douglas style. Does anyone repair them, and is it worth it?

I'm trying to avoid cluttering up the area behind the cluster with pigtails from a Packard gauge. The NOS Douglas are getting close to $100.
