Heater Installation - Air Ducting

After you install the diverter box under the dash, it lines up with the knock out on the dash for the defog duct to install. The problem is that the height difference of the diverter to the dash hole is less than the diameter of the rubber hose duct. Meaning you can't bend the hose that tight to line up and it would make contact with the pop up vent when closed. We were going to use the flexible dryer venting (thin shiny alum mylar) to make the under dash connections - but we did not want to stray from the path of rightness without some advice.
