Re: Carb rebuild
The Army manual system leaves the heavy overhaul stuff in specialized manuals. The Auto-Lite electrical component repair & overhaul data is in the TM 9-1825B dated NOV 1952, The Delco Electrical component repair & overhaul manual is TM 9-8627 JUN 53, the Carter Carbs are in TM 9-1826A (governor is there also)Dated SEP 52, The fuel pump repair and overhaul manual is TM 9-1828A dated DEC 51, and tires and wheels are in TM 9-1870-1 dated FEB 55. There are many more plus later & earlier dated versions of those already listed.
Most items peculiar to the truck are out there on the net as exerpts of the original manual.

Re: Carb rebuild
just picked up a copy of TM 9-1826A and have to say it is very detailed. Nice thing is it covers all of the Carter built carburetors that the military used up to that point. Definitely worth adding to the TM collection.
