Tachometer

Post by M37UK »

Hi folks.

Have spent a very rainy Saturday hooking up my tacho.
This particular model of tacho is 12/24v and is wired directly into the Delco alternator. I have attached pics for anyone interested in how I did it.
Unfortunately I wasnt sure which field to tap in the alternator so I tapped them all.
The tacho has an adjustment screw inside so it can be calibrated to a known engine speed. I think mine probably needs a wee adjustment.
