tool box
I was at a show lately involving military vehicles in New York all of the M37 that i saw there had a tool box that ran from one side of the body to the other. my truck does not hav a tool box nor does it look as if it ever did. were they made with and without? my body looks original.

Re: tool box
I have never seen one without it. Seen lots with the hinges rusted shut that prevented the use of the space, but never saw one just blank there. I am assuming you have a standard bed?

Hey newbee101, Welcome to the fold! This is gonna sting a little, but a pic of the box side walls will tell us all, what exactly is going on with and answer your query. To my knowledge, there never has been a vehicle of that description, unless it is/was a prototype or very early vehicle?
What year is your vehicle, have you found your serial #?

Re: tool box
Ok so now that i know that there are none without the tool box i have gone out to do a more thorough inspection of the body and take a few pics and low and behold the toll box has been removed and a plate has been welded over the hole on both sides emagine that. Hey thanks for the come back. this is why this site is the best ever.
