Anyone know where I can find a PDF of the fender heater installation instructions?
Thanks in advance,

Nevermind, I jumped the gun. I already had it on my computer from a long time ago and had forgotten.

If you use the heater kit from Midwest, it works great but, I believe it is kind of universal and the biggest problem is the fender mount heater box brackets are no where close to the knock out holes in the fender. If you use those holes the heater will not sit horizontal and will be too far forward. I also used a heater hose clamp to secure the fan resistor in the bracket on the back of the instrument panel just so it wouldn't pop loose. I made that mistake and adjusted for it but the heater hose from the side entry into the cab to the heater box wil be too short. I used 4" corrugated plastic hose used on dust collectors and it fit fine, painted it with rustoluem plastic primer and then OD and if you didn't know that the hose was supposed to wire wound cloth and black, you'd couldn't tell.

Thanks for the heads up. I got this kit in a bunch of parts from a friend who had sod his M37, but kept all the parts that had come with it when he bought it. The heater kit is NOS, but incomplete. It was missing the flex hose, the switch, the resistor, and the breaker, and of course the paperwork. I have located the hoses, the switch and breaker, but still need to find the resistor.
I will check the hole location carefully before getting jiggy with punching any out.
At this point, I plan on using the entire kit except for the defroster duct. I think I will fab up something a bit lower profile than the correct one.
Thanks again,
Tim

I installed the entire kit with the defroster. As you pointed out, the defroster is a bit on the large side and I found that it actually blocks the driver's view of the speedometer and upper gauges. You have to lean back to see them clearly. Sounds like fabing up a lower profile would be a better option.

Tim (and anyone else)
I've got the installation manuel. Would be happy to sent you a photo copy.
Just PM me if you need it. Has all the spec's for measuring out the holes
you'll need to punch in the fender. As mentioned previously above, me and
others ran into the problem of the "kit" not matching the knock out holes
in the fender. So, be cautious there.

Thanks for the offer and emphasizing the knockout location issues. I knocked out the big one on the cowl side, that took some grit to do. Gee, lets take this freshly painted cab and knock a big hole in the side! No turning back now!
Thanks,
Tim

Yeah...........there is a certain amount of "pucker factor" when removing the knockouts. :(
