Dual Master Cylinder

Post by xd2200 »

Saw an old thread relating to using a NAPA#TS 101405 (1970 1 - ton Dodge) MC in a M37 (while retaining stock brakes). Unfortunately, the thread ends without indicating if it was a successful installation. Anyone know if this dual MC can be used to repace the stock single MC?

http://www.uglytruckling.com site references using a brake master cylinder from a 1980 Chevrolet C30 truck - Bendix p/n 1584... this is the MC that many, if not most, swappers use in their conversion to dual chamber MC.

Advance Auto Parts list the following new Cardone master cylinder p/n: 13-1584
