m-37 with Braden winch and western plow

Post by dozenjeeps »

I have a very good condition M-37 for sale with the Braden Winch and full hydraulic plow, the truck has the steel cab and a very good box and tailgate... she has great metal and very little rust... The bad is it has the wrong tires and rims on the truck they are deuce size rims and tires, looks like a mean mudder!!! the other bad is I have not gotten it started.... bought a new switch as that seemed to be a problem, then I had a mechanic that was supposed to be better than me, which does not take much, anyway I bought a new coil, condenser, points and it needs to be put back in to get running, hopefully that is all we need to do to get it going again....engine turns over good just no spark... this is a very solid good looking truck... I have a m-37 and a M-43 in my pole shed that is restored and am not going to need this one, so its going up for sale as is... if someone is worried about the engine and knows how to get it running they can try it b4 buying it, I have no problem with that...I have the parts.... looking to get 3750.00 and will email pics to anyone interested.... neuby47@hotmail.com... can't put pics here for some reason...my pics are to big...
buy and restore old jeeps & trucks & mostly military and sell cheap when they are finished...

Just reduce the file size of your photos to 150K and they will load.

That line at the bottom of all your post confuses me. Unless you are constantly losing $$$, you simply cannot, buy, restore, and sell CHEAP when finished, any kind of RESTORED vehicle these days. You have left me wondering just what your definition of restored might be? Just curious.

meant it mostly as a joke, if you have ever restored a jeep or any vehicle to any condition, better than it was when you started, you realize as a hobby the hours you put in the vehicle you never really get it back out to a fair wage... but I agree, if I can figure out how to take that off my biography, I will.. it can be taken all different ways... I do parade type restorations and sold the 4 or 5 that I did to other veterans for parades... I am not a purist, will use a CJ part on a Military jeep if I can as most people just want a cool vehicle for a reasonable price.. so to answer your questions my restorations are not PURE restorations, I just get them running and sell them after I used them for awhile and want a different one... I have 8 cj's now and 5 military vehicles M151, M-170, M-43 AND TWO M-37's which is why I am selling the M-37 that I have done nothing to so far...thanks...

No need to remove the line on my account, I wasn't suggesting you do so. Like I said, it just made me wonder how that could be happening.

Well Dozenjeeps, your moniker seems to fit! I like those MUTTs too, and hope some day to have one (since I drove one in '77-'78....)

Well I tried to remove my comment on the selling of jeeps cheap, and no luck, guess I will live with it... again I meant no harm by my comment, just seems I buy stuff and sell it for less than my actual cost, but I am retired and its my hobby and I can afford it, so thats the way it is.. Yeah I like the MUTT almost the best, I think if I can remember right when I was stationed in Korea in 1968-1969 I drove the Mutt while with KMAG, I had a pretty cushy job and the Major and I went hunting all over Korea, shooting Doves, ducks and a lot of ring neck pheasants.. I need to dig out some Pics to be sure as I really do not remember if it was a MUTT or not, sure was the right time frame but it was 40 years ago!!!

Well you pre-date me 10 years, as I was stationed there at Camp Humphreys in '78-'79....

all right.... still thinking about some KIMCHI??? I pretty much was all over the country, worked at a dispensary for 6 months in Inchon, or I think we call it something else, than went to Taegu for 9 more months with KMAG and really was TDY all over the place, training the Koreans for service in Viet Nam, even got attached to one group of Koreans and wanted to go with them... lucky the Colonel said no and kept me where I was... ................ I am pretty sure we drove the MUTT all over, I think we had some m-37's and maybe a m715, I owned one for awhile but I am partial to the boxy tough looking M-37 the most... well anyway take care... craig

I am lowering the price to 3000.00 for the m-37 with winch and hydraulic western plow.. if no takers may consider parting it out as the whole body, glass, tailgate and truck is really nice, a shame to part out but no room to keep inside my shed anymore and will not let it sit and rust out.... neuby47@hotmail.com if interested.... would consider trading for a jeep as I only have 9 of those!!
