Here is my first real show. It was at the Tucson RR depot March 20 the 130th anniversary of the arrival of the first train to Tucson. Old cars, trucks, trains, and cowboy shoot outs. Whole lot of fun. I got lots of good comments.
Nice looking truck and great opportunity to advertise the hobby!

If you lay a piece on 1/4" plywood on top of the cargo area bows it will take the wrinkles out of your canvas. May have to trim it but it does wonders for how the canvas looks. I painted the plywood OD green so you dont really see it looking into the bed area.
Thanks you guys!! Bill the plywood idea sounds great. Do you leave it in while driving?
WEll here is a little more about the day. I was unable to stay with my truck for the whole time. I am involved with the transportation museum and was helping with the event. My favorite part of that is blowing my 100 year old steam whistle at 11:00 to mark the arrival of the first train. I am also an Operation Lifesaver presenter and we had our simulator there to promote safety around the tracks for the general populace.
One more pic of the event starting from the left Tucson Mayor Bob Walkup is the guy in the top hat. The guys at the podium are Ken Karrels director of the museum foundation, 94 year old retired conductor Harlan Marlar, and Bill Kalt author of "When Tucson was a Railroad Town". The item in the case is the silver spike made from silver from the Tough Nut mine in Tombstone AZ. The day was really fun.
