Neat garage sale find

Post by refit1701 »

I found this Carter Carb Sales and Service Manual at a garage sale. I almost passed it by without a peek but somehow it got my attention. The original copyright dates are '33 and '42, which carb info going into the mid '50's.

It covers prewar and post war Carter Carbs for all makes and models, most of which I have never heard of. It does list the ETW1 but has no spec sheet on it. :(

But it has the MB carb for the jeep and a mountain of other stuff. There is a section on govenors but I am not sure if the one our trucks use is listed.
