SPEEDO CABLE

NEED A SPEEDO CABLE FOR A 1952 M 37 . VINTAGE POWER WAGON does not have them. where do I go from here . HELP ! :evil:

Go to your neighborhood NAPA or equivalent and ask for one to fit a '52 Dodge pickup. You might mention that it's a "power wagon" if asked.

Asking a question like that at the local NAPA would likely get a laugh, at least at mine it would. Heavy truck parts suppliers usually custom build them. Many instrument dealers do as well. we use NSI Inc. of Greensboro, NC, that is Nichols Speedometer & Instrument Co., Inc., they can custom build any type drive cable you need. Also asking for one to fit a civilian '52 will get you the incorrect drive tang on the lower end. The military uses a .152" tang drive, the civilian uses a .104" square drive key.
