WHAT KIND , SMELLS LIKE IT WOULD BE A GEAR OIL 90W, IT PERITY MUCH DRY DIP PINKY FINGER IN TOP TO 2ND KNUCKEL NO OIL , H E L P !! :oops:

The proper oil is 80-90 gear lube. Use a top quality brand. Drain each end housing to remove contaminated oil. Once the housings are completely dry, they hold 1 quart of oil in each housing. There are level check plugs, fill until oil runs out the check plug openings. Be sure to seal the threads on all plugs to keep oil in-water out. If you have leakage around the oil seals, a rebuild is in order.

BOOK THAT I MISS PLACE -- GEAR OIL 90W 32* AND ABOVE/ 75W 40* to -10*/ GOS - lubricant 0* to -65* universal sub -zero , good thing I found the screws for my neck !! :lol:

Use GL-4 not GL-5, GL-5 eats brass and other soft metals.
