Fording Cables

Post by amanco »

Looking for a bit of help here. I have the fording valves installed on my truck and also have the fording cable/s. What I don't have is the clamping brackets that hold the outer cables in place for the inner push/pull to work. Can some one take digital photos of their cable ends where they mount at the valve so I can see how to mount mine and make them work? Thanks!

Mine were missing too. There is a flat bracket that bolts to the airhorn of the carb. And like wise for the lower. The actual holder is just like the one for a lawnmower throttle. Also you can find them on add on choke kits.

Here is a shot of the carb bracket.... it has a scallop cutout that fits around the carb arm.
