Rubber gas line?
Has anyone used a rubber gas line on their M37? My gas tank is ready to go back in and I don't trust the stock metal gas line to be in good enough condition. My truck will never be judged for points, so I don't have to keep it "correct". I am thinking about putting a 24v electric fuel pump in the line, and have been told that it would be best to put it near the tank and push the gas through the line. Any ideas?

You could use rubber lines but it is not a good idea. They dont work as good for suction purposes. Also if anything catches them and pulls them out you can have a big saftey issue. On mine I have 5/16 steel line from the parts store hooked to a 24 volt fuel pump then back to the engine. Finding the correct fittings for the electric pump did kind suck but the pice of mind was worth it.
