probably stupid trade

Post by just me »

Looks like I am probably going to trade my unrestored complete truck (albeit fresh overhauls on engine, trans, transfer case and winch) for a fully restored 1st year M38A1 and M101.
I will keep all my spares and sell them at the shows.
Jeep isn't any faster, but it is easier to use and store.
My Jeep friends think I'm nuts.

They are just toys. Buy, sell, trade, go backwards, go forward, go sideways, repeat as you wish.

A trade that you can enjoy and personally benefit from is a good trade.
That being said, I enjoy my M38 much more than my M37 because I can drive it while the Dodge still has a list of things to be fixed longer than my arm..
