Man! That's a nice defroster! I like that That's exactly what I was thinking of except I'd use the regular defroster outlet hole with a "riser" so I wouldn't have to cut the dash up. I like that angular, welded-up steel design. It matches the design of the rest of the truck. Have you hooked everything up and tried it out yet? I wasn't aware of the Hurricane Heaters until you mentioned it but now that's what I want! I live in Florida and we need AC here! And we also require AC to defrost the windshield since heat alone usually won't do it with our humidity.

I have not tried it out yet. I have lots of other mocking up goiing on at the same time. The nice part is that if the air is not diverted at the windshield good enough I can unbolt the tube and modify it easily enough. Even after the truck is painted I can always make a new tube if I want to. I've been busy mocking up the hydrabooster brake system and brake pedal.
