Front driveshaft u-joints replaced. I used Spicer 5-3251X u joints (US made). You can see the size difference between it and the Detroit that was in it.
You can get the decal with the four on it along with any other stencil or decal you want from the chap who advertises here, I momentarily forget his name. I used his stencils when I painted my truck, but the bridge class yellow four is a decal. His prices are much better than Ebay. By the way, when we put the stencils on, they have a sort of adhesive on them, my son sprayed a very light mist of rustoleum white many times, just a mist and it looks great, no runs, perfect edges. We did mask off a lot to protect from the mist. HC
the four inch yellow 4 is on the doors, Rick has a decal for this, on the grill you can put a metal plate holder, with clip in numbers, for a bridge classification for the the truck and any trailer it may be pulling. I believe the first number is the truck, the second for the trailer. You can get the plates/numbers from different sources, mine are subdued from a bigger truck, so I clicked in the numbers for a M37.. I am pretty sure a M37 gets a four rating for the first number, and I have a zero for the second, as I don't have a trailer. Rick has stencils/dedals and dash plates for just about anything you could imagine. NV
The Bridge Plate kit comes with all the numerals any historic mil-veh might need, I got my set from Rick 20 years ago at the MVPA national convention at Ft. Lee, VA.
