A large majority of items we build are done in house, these are easy to whip out in just a few minutes as needed. Most people never order things like this because they are so simple to fab up.Chris P wrote:Thanks for the replies.
Charles, in the past I've bought things from you because you've had them fabricated in quantity. But I guess that's for things you contract out, whereas something like this you can just make one yourself whenever you need one.

thanks for the advice Charles, i have a 24V facet on the way, 4-6psi. do i probably need a pressure regulator with that? i saw your spec says 4psi max. i'm also going to go ahead and replace the fuel pump on my civi while i'm at it, be a shame to get it all back together and then have the fuel pump fail and take the engine out with it.

Can you run an electric pump for the fuel bypassing the machanical pump, and keep the mechanical pump on the engine for the vacuum side? Worst case here you loose the diaphram and wipers?

Yes you can do that, BUT don't expect great strides in relation to wiper boost. Vacuum wipers are poor at best, and the amount of boost that pump can furnish is very minimal, even if it's in top shape. The stock vacuum wipers are plumbed directly to the "outlet" side of the vacuum circuit of the fuel pump. The "inlet" side of the fuel pump vacuum circuit is routed to the intake manifold.
