My Baldwin Distributor told me the same thing concerning the age of the paper several years back, they recommended no more than a 5 year shelf life as well.

I will check these dates when they arrive. I had heard that before. Still, If I have to throw one or two away, it will still be much cheaper than trying to buy individual ones locally. I also think like anything else storage conditions have a lot to do with shelf life. I plan on storing these in my house in controlled temps. I have 3 vehicles as of now (future plans for 3 more) that use these filters so I don't think I can go wrong. Will check them when they get here anyway.
