No need in removing the bellhousing. Once the flywheel is off, you can access the flange type seal as easily as it will get.

Careful when you are removing the flywheel, that thing is HEAVY !!
Do not try and remove it while you are directly underneath it.

Apart from that it comes apart easily. :)

OH MY, WHAT AWAITS ME.... :shock: I CAN ONLY HOPE MY '62 HAS A LATER MODEL ENGINE IN IT...
