How Come?

Post by m-37Bruce »

We haven't seen a pic of this "alleged" anvil yet, or is it on webshots already?
My anvil came from hf, one buck per #, it works ok, it must be me that needs more work?

This reminds me of the article I just read in Backwoodsman magazine. This mag is for do it yourself homesteaders and the like. Anyway, they showed a picture of an anvil made out of a piece of railroad track. It was for small jobs, but man was it neat. If I ever come across a small enough piece of RR track, I'm gonna haul it home and make me an avil....

Carter;

BTW, nice find.

Have you had a chance to test the belt sander yet?
Not yet Nick, been busy drying out the basement, cleaning the rain gutters and downspouts. I tried hammerdrilling the basement floor to install the new sump pump that I bought while we were at HF Sat. and that concrete is harder than the garage floor that killed the last drill I had. :evil:
On to plan 2, I'm just not sure what plan 2 is yet.

Bruce; if you are asking about my rail anvil, I never took a picture of it and haven't used it in a while. Next time I'm using it I'll get a couple of shots and post them.
Contrary to popular belief, I don't post pix of all the things I own, it just seems like it. :D

Some of the things I have taken pix of:
