Awwww, poo! :( There aren't enough blue ones on the road, but it's your truck so it's your choice. Are you going to keep the AF markings (black on green trucks)? Whatever you decide, have fun with your restoration and your completed truck. That's what it's all about, after all. :)

I was going to mark the truck to reflect my fathers old unit in the Aleutian islands in WW2. I know this truck isn't period correct but it's what I feel should be done.
You should of seen the smile on his face when he saw the truck for the first time.

My thoughts somewhat parallel yours, Highway. I'm doing the Cann-Point Fort Ord theme on mine since there is a slim chance I actually rode in this exact M37 back when I was stationed at Ft Ord in '77-'78. In making mine "period" with the cann-point theme it gets to look like the yard truck, meaning everything doesn't have to look brand new....

I was trying to post pictures of my truck on this site, but I have given up. I guess that I'm missing something. I posted it on the SS website.
I would realy like to have a picture of the truck tied to the registry but I can't seem to get it to work.

I got the new gas gauge in the mail yesterday and did the install. It's now functioning correctly.
