carb rebuilders

I have a question for everyone who had their carb rebuilt. Who, in your opinion is a good rebuilder. I have the carter ball & ball on a 1951 m37, with a renued gas tank and new lines. the fuel pump has been cleaned ( some ). It is going to be rebuilt also. Everything runs good until I start up any small incline. No power? timing is right on. I thought I should start with everything redone, Thanks Ron

I had my fuel pump rebuilt by Tom at Then & Now Automative because he's local to me and he did a fantastic job. He may also rebuild carbs.

You didn't mention what your timing is set on, 4 degrees BEFORE TDC is the optimum setting. Many go wrong setting it by the book which says 2 degrees after TDC & is totally wrong. If your timing isn't set at 4 degrees before TDC, try that first, you will notice a huge difference in performance.
