(3) M37's + parts going to auction

Post by Dieselbreath »

Three M37's + a parts lot will be auctioned off at the State of New Hampshire surplus property auction on October 18, 2008. One each, 1951, 1952 and 1953 Dodge M37. All three have been converted into forest fire "forestry" units and come complete with pump unit, hoses, etc. Also, they still have emergency lights and siren, etc. Color: red. These units are complete and in good running order, as they have just recently been removed from service. Also, as a separate lot, there will be miscellaneous M37 spare parts.
The auction will take place at White Farm, 144 Clinton St., Concord, NH on Saturday, October 18, 2008. For more information, contact James R. St. Jean Auctioneers, 603-624-1818, or go to: www.jsjauctions.com

M37's

Post by Paul (in NH) »

I'm planning on being at this auction. I tried to buy them directly from the City, but they decided to go to auction instead. They are selling all 3 as a lot from what I read here, and have been told previously, so it will be a gamble to see whether they would have been better selling them earlier, or by this method. :)

Auction

The auctioneer plans to sell each one separately and then sell the separate lot of spare parts as one lump sum.

What they went for

Went to the auction today:
One with Braden winch went for $3750, One with aftermarket winch for $4250, and other for $3000. These should serve their new owners well.
