Does anybody know who will insure these vehicles for off road use? My insurance USAA will no longer insure this type of vehicle and Haggarty as well as American classics will only insure it as a classic vehicle. FYI. I live in Tucson it that helps answer

Re: Insurance question
Thank you for replying. I'll reach out to them.
Re: Insurance question
I just read my Haggerty renewal for my M37, and as long as it is not my primary vehicle, there are no restrictions on my use. Damage or loss due to owner negligence is of course not covered, as if I drive it into a river or ravine. I do take mine off road occasionally. NV
Re: Insurance question
Thanks for reply NV. I have another vehicle with Haggarty and I'll have to see what that policy says. When I spoke to them this past Friday, I asked them that question about going off reading and they told they won't cover that on my vehicle.

Re: Insurance question
All I've ever used insurance outfits like JC and Hagerty is for PD & PL to satisfy the state requirements.

Re: Insurance question
I have normal unrestricted coverage on my M-37.
Safeco. $211 per year. 100k/300k/100k + un and under + theft.
In Phx
If figures that the military insurance company won't cover military vehicles.

Re: Insurance question
just renewed my M37's policy with Hagerty for $160, but I don't presume it would cover me if I roll it into a river or ditch. Plus It has something like a 60 mile tow or flatbed, which I used once. I have a valuation of $7K on my truck, which wouldn't cover half of the replacement. But I am fine with this. hal
