What size spindle nut socket

What is the size of the spindle nut as I need to get a socket. It appears to be around 2 1/2".
62 M37B1 being restored.
73 M151A2 Restored and being driven.
61 M151 Possible future project.
46 CJ2A Possible future project.

I believe it is a 2 9/16 for the wheel spindle.

2 9/16 OCTAGONAL-important that you ensure it's 8-sided.
