door locking and how to get in?

Post by outpostm37 »

Anyone have tricks for locking both M37 doors and being able to get back into the cab? I have a static display coming up for the M37 and would like to lock both doors and be able to unlock one from the outside. Tricks?

Leave your front windshield unlatched but closed and reach in through that to lock and unlock. Most visitors won't think to flip open the windshield to gain access.

Huh? I never tried or knew that one could lock the doors from the inside. Or how to reach thru a windshield to grab the handle either. I have a battery switch low on the battery box, so if someone leaves my ignition on, it won't burn out my coil. Gotta check this out. hal

To lock the door from inside, just pull the inside door handle the opposite way that you do to open it.

Unzip the rear window and reach in from the bed.
Leave windscreen unlocked and reach in through it.
Install a keylocking doorhandle.
