Re: windshield problems
Thanks for those pics. It seems like my upper hinge is bent too low- causing the window to be low. Now to figure out how to bend it up where it belongs. Always something.
Again, thanks everyone.
Again, thanks everyone.

Re: windshield problems
I tried to post a pic on my windshield, file was too big, I did post them on fb on the S/S groupe page.

Re: windshield problems
might be a lot easier to source a new hinge, and not try to bend yours. If you can get the screws out of yours. I never have problems with the big fasteners on my truck, it is the little fine thread screws and tiny bolts that are often unremovable and need to to be drilled out and re-tapped. Good luck with this. NV
Re: windshield problems
Nam Vet is right on those hinge bolts. I did that after making the mistake of snapping off the first one. The threaded pilot holes fit an internal bracket that will fall inside the windshield frame and IS NOT RETRIEVEABLE. Fortunately I grabbed one hole with an easy-out just before losing the entire bracket. I ended up tapping all and replacing all of my bolts-you can see the bolt heads in my photos. Without doubt one of the toughest jobs I've done on my M37.
