Oil Filter

Post by slk »

Hey guys does anyone have any cross references for an oil filter for the M37.. I have some old notes that says a NAPA 1100 will fit it. Is that a fact?

Thanks

yes. Cost is maybe $25 at NAPA. Our filter canister is called the "Junior" filter. Apparently big trucks used a larger one, maybe a "Senior?" hal

Yep, they were classics, the 'Military Junior' & the 'Military Senior'.

M-series Jeeps and the M37 used the Junior, the gasser Duece and 5-ton used the Senior.

Lots of other military gear like welders, generators, and compressors used them as well.

Both were bypass filters.
