Floor mats?

Does anyone make floor mats for these trucks?

This is my go to product when I need to make a mat for something. Might work for a floor mat in the M37.

They are cheap enough I don't feel bad cutting them up and the interlocking design means that I can connect a couple together if it's a large area.

I do not believe there was any sort of floor mat that the military made for these truck. Floor mats are kinda of a new thing for the military. Mid 80's and up. You will have to source some bulk rubber or vinyl material and make your own. Or check out fro military mats made for the M35A3 or for another modern mill truck and cut it to fit. Good luck and if you do make your own post about what you and how you did it and some pics too.

I purchased mine from Walmart. I then cut them where needed with some trimmers. I like them and think they fit good.

That is the best I have ever seen! ( it is the only ones I have ever seen). Not bad, and does seem to fit pretty well.

I was thinking of trying to find some Hexomat material. I have some that was factory made to fit our minivan in the middle row and back cargo area and have been happy with it (We use Weathertech mats in the front row). My recollection is that you used to be able to buy Hexomat in oversized shapes and cut it to suit, but everything I see now is custom-cut to fit a specific model.

I'm a bit concerned about mats sliding up and jamming around the pedals. Most have nubs on the bottom designed to grip a modern vehicle's carpet and/or a hook system that fits a hook in the vehicle which keeps the mat from sliding forward. Both of those methods won;t work in an M37. Have you noticed yours wanting to slide around at all?

I'm also curious of the mats provide and sound deadening. I've noticed that things are quieter in my truck when I have a bunch of junk piled on the passenger side floor. I think this helps prevent the floor board from acting like a sounding board, deadening the vibrations a bit.

Thanks for the compliments. I have not had any problems with the mats sliding around at all. You will notice in the picture that the way I cut the mat on the driver’s side the mat cannot slide upward because of the gas pedal and on the far upper left hand side of the mat it slides under a fastener so that discourages it from sliding up against the clutch pedal. The mats do seem to create some insulation especially since there are a couple small holes in the floor for what purpose I don’t know. The mat on the passenger side fits good also I believe.

Were these generic "one size fits all" mats, or were they listed for a specific car?

They are generic. I liked them not only for their shape but they are heavy much like weathertech mats. That probably also helps them stay in place.
