So, good news. I do have door weather strip on the passenger door so I have a picture of that for you. It is glued on, and appears original to the truck based on the layers of paint on it. The shape appears like in your drawing in the first post.

For the window, that weather strip is fitted into a U channel that is screwed to the cab top.
Not sure if there’s a difference between hard top cabs and soft top cabs? I have a hard top.

ahh ok then I the original door WS and the U channel I do have it too in my soft top. Ok very nice info. I can find something to solve it locally.
