Spare Tire Mount
I am trying to make a early spare tire mount. Can anybody tell me the dimensions of the bracket. I'm assuming it is 1/8th thick. Thanks.

Re: Spare Tire Mount
Mine is all in pieces right now, so glad to help. Which piece? The one mounted to the bed or the c-channel that spins?

I am looking for the dimensions of the piece that attaches to the bed.

Thanks for helping out, Greeno!
I'd have been happy to help 1952 had I not installed mine a month prior.

Re: Spare Tire Mount
I took my in-bed spare off yesterday, taking my 1968 tire up a 100 miles north to drop off for a sandblasting and new NDX. When I get back, I will shoot some pics and measure my mount and get back to you. NV
