Cowl vent question

Post by powerwagontim »

Hi Guys,
I assembled the cowl vent yesterday. When I close it, it centers nicely in the hole and bears great in the back but the front is 1/2" up. I have the link bar at the extreme of the adjustment length so should have the most pull down. I have played the the adjustment of the hinge as well but can not effect the tilt of it to lay down flat. What am I missing here? It would seem to get the vent where it needs to be I would need to slot the holes more but that seems extreme, I have to figure it worked when I took it apart!
I appreciate any input!
Tim

mine had wear and elongation of the hole where the pivot pin was, so used a larger bolt to take up the slack. NV

Yep, one of the M37's little 'time requirement' things.

It will behave, eventually.
