Hey Crew.
June 30, 2017 we went to Lee County Speedway, Donnellson Iowa.
After greeting the people at the gate our Military vehicles were taken out on the track
for a few "hot laps". When the races started we used a Jeep, a M37 & 2 deuce & a half's as pace cars.
What a rush riding around a race track with a pack of screaming "stock-cars" hot on yer tail!
After each race the winner was photographed with the M/V's.
They put on quite a show in Donnellson and I sure hope we get invited back next year.

That is pretty cool Tim, we had a chance to do that once in Oshkosh on the dirt track, but never got asked to come back
I guess we were too slow for them.

Hey Bert!!
You were too fast fer-em! Maybe they were embarrassed by the MV's burning up the track?

Re: Military Vehicle Pace Cars!
That's definitely a first! I would have never imagined an M37 pace car!

Re: Military Vehicle Pace Cars!
Being a long time race driver I can just imagine the drivers in those race cars trying to go that slow! Especially if they were dirt cars with "In and out" boxes and no clutch. Once that trans is in gear you got to go!
