Bedside questions

Can anyone tell me how the inner fenders on the bed attach to the bedsides? I know the outer fenders bolt on. Are the inners tack-welded to the lip on the bedside? I bought a nice used set (thanks M-37 bruce!) and wondering how to separate. Haven't had a chance to work on yet but thought someone may know, if not I'll pull out the grinder and see what I find.

They are spot welded to the sides. A couple of years ago I bought a set of inner fenders off of eBay. The seller drilled/pried them off the side panels. The fenders on my truck were butchered by the fire dept I purchased it from. I haven't tackled replacing them yet
