1st Big Snow 2016...

Hello All,
Predictions are 15 to 30 inches here in the Wasatch Mountains by Tuesday. Winter storm warnings are in effect, and the snow has just begun falling. Alas, my M37 is deadlined right now so I can't get out to play.

Yesterday was the last 70° day for the season so we put about 75 miles on the Jeep. The M37 is deadlined with the xfer case out and the rear diff under repair. But, I'll be under the truck in this horrible 50° weather finishing up the rear end. Enjoy your snow.

I am finally ready Gary, oil pan installed with no leaks and snow plow's rust removed with a needle scaler gun, coated with Permatex anti-rust coating and 2 coats of yellow paint. How much snow did you get? We had a little Sunday before last but no accumulation.

Pulled a trailer across frozen tundra through a foot of snow today. Not very many other production vehicles that you could do that with.

We got a solid foot with 2 and 3 foot drifts due to the wind. Fortunately my Rubicon will have no difficulty negotiating it. I also have lockers if I need them for any extreme demands. Some of the ski resorts got 3 feet.

You've been a good sport when I've called you about pix but I didn't get any this time-just doesn't seem right to snap snow pix w/o my M37 in them!
