m37 / m35a canvace top difference
i have what i thought was a canvase top for a m37.. a gentalman told me if there is holes above the doors for latching that it goes to a m35a duece
Re: m37 / m35a canvace top difference
That is correct. The M37 has two riveted plates on each side that fit into the top brace slots on each side.

You can make it work. We put one of those on my buddies M37. We had to buy fasteners to mount to the curved side rails above the doors.
I am not sure if it was just his old top or not but it seemed to droop in the middle and since I am tall it was laying on my head.
So we rigged up some cross pieces, (He was determined to use this top.) and that helped support the top.

The two web straps are "Supposed" to stop the droop. You could form the metal pieces for the side and sew them into a pocket so you didn't have to modify the side rails. (Or I'll trade you my side rails that were modified by a previous owner for ones without extra holes.)
