I have access to a GM 14-bolt rear axle to swap into my M37, it's a dually axle... I'm thinking that may be desirable because of the narrowness of the wheel track if I take off the outer wheels.
I'm still learning about this stuff, and I've been reading a ton both here and on Steel Soldiers.
Can anyone chime in on if this is a good way to go, or are there better choices?
Rear axle swap, 14-bolt dually?

a 4.88 14 bolt is a good option if you have 4.89s in the front. the biggest part of the job (besides the u bolts)is finding the ww2 yoke that works with the ebrake drum to center the drive shaft.
